Pastor Terri Horn
Pastor Terri’s passion for Jesus, children, outreach, and serving others shapes her ministry. You can find her around town, coffee shops, and wherever people gather. Growing up on a family fishing resort in rural southern Minnesota, she was inspired by the people she met: people who cared for one another like Christ.
After graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College as a Registered Nursing and a passion for public health, case management, and mentoring, she obtained her Master of Divinity at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. She then returned to nursing in Arizona and Minnesota. Pastor Terri finally answered her call to the ministry in 2015 when she was appointed to Le Sueur UMC and ordained an elder in the United Methodist Church in 2018. She serves on conference teams and the Board of Ordained Ministry. She has two wonderful adult children starting their own families.
Pastor Terri believes the dust of our past shapes our next adventure and is a living example that the Spirit’s call to ministry never goes away. Best of all, God is with us in all of it. She loves casual conversations over lunch or coffee, snap chats with her kids, talking with the neighborhood kids and dogs, and sending noisy learning toys to her grandbaby.
